Scuba Diving, Underwater Photography and Digital Workflow
Scuba Diving has been a family affair since we started in the late 90s. My wife Cathy and I discovered it during a Christmas week
spent in Puerto Vallarta and we could not believe how wonderful it was when they took us, clueless and not certified, on
our first dive in the Las Marietas Islands. We got our Open Water Diver C-cards the following
year in Cozumel (our first visit to the island). Our son Theo was certified in 2000, shortly followed by Julie
and we have been diving together since.
Being able to bring back underwater photography material from our dives was a goal since the beginning. In 2000, I borrowed a small Sea
And Sea camera from a friend and took it on a dive trip. The results were mediocre, but
I was nevertheless enthusiastic: I bought my own equipment and started to take it everywhere I went diving.
I am not a professional photographer, and most photographs on this site could benefit from a better technique. Don't hesitate
to share your experience and suggestions with me.
The main purpose of this site is to share the passion for diving and underwater photography with my friends and the visitors who
manage to find it. Having fun with this project is the second reason. If you want to use some of the pictures on this site,
please read the terms and conditions.
This site is mostly about Underwater Photography and scuba diving. lots of underwater photographs have been taken in
Cozumel, but also in the Galapagos Islands and in the Gloucester area in Masashuset
